Welcome to our in-person Study Hall event! Need a quiet place to focus on your homework or study for exams? Join us at our cozy location for a productive session. Bring your books, laptops, and notes - we've got the space and ambiance to help you ace those tests. Whether you're a student looking for a change of scenery or just need a dedicated study time, our Study Hall is the place to be. Make new study buddies or enjoy the silence - it's all up to you. LHOUSE members will volunteer their time. Current Mandated Reporters, that have a background in education/special education. Will hold a 4:1 ratio so that all children receive the appropriate amount of educational support. Building's doors stay locked at all times. You need a code to enter.
Child/children must bring lessons that they are in need of educational support. Books, laptops, pencils, paper, markers, glue, scissors, workbook, worksheet, questions or unfinished work. Volunteers, tutors or teacher will help as needed. Bring your home educational martials you need support on.
LHOUSE provides a safe, clean space for studying. Location: 10 S. Lake St, Mundelein Il. Educational support in different subjects.: Reading/English, Math, Science etc. Please check the calendar at: lhouse2021.com where dates are set and showcase Reading Specialist, Math, Science Lab & Spanish.
Study Hall style event. A place where children can meet other homeschoolers and receive educational support. Tutors and Teachers hired through LHOUSE. Children will bring current lessons or curriculum that they are in need of a little extra support. As well as meet other homeschoolers.
Study Hall is from 1-3pm on set dates. Please look at the calendar on the lhouse2021.com . Educational support 45-1hr. But not limited to time, as children learn differently. Age & attention span generally ranging from 20mins-30 for younger children. Teenagers generally 30-60mins. (with breaks)
1-3pm Study have will provide educational support. The remainer of the time is for Social Interaction. Meet other homeschool children. Play board games, icebreakers, conversation, listen to music or draw/color.
No Refunds. There're only a limited number of spots for Study Hall. Volunteers, tutors & teacher schedule their availability. Educators & Teachers are hired through LHOUSE , donations fund this group. LHOUSE is none for profit and donations help run events & activities.
LHOUSE uses the lower level of St. Andrew's. LHOUSE is a Secular group. We do not promote or teach any religious materials/lessons. We only use the lower level for our meet-ups. It's just a safe and clean building that LHOUSE has used for over 19 years.
No Refunds. No rescheduling or make-up time offered. If you are late, you are welcome to join in and participate the rest of the Study Hall time. Please get in touch with the lead, you will need to be let in as doors will be locked.( read Q&A rg. refunds)

LHOUSE value all members and none-members, as well the connections and relationships built over time. We believe everyone should be treated equally regardless of race, sex, gender, identification, native language, religion, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
LHOUSE has a high standard for mutual respect towards one another. A nonhostile environment. If you show lack of respect or make others, feel uncomfortable. You will be asked to leave the group and grounds. NO REFUNDS. NO WARNING, NO EXCEPTIONS. You will definitely be addressed by lead.
Families are welcome to wear a mask. Please be aware that there will be families NOT wearing a mask. Families are welcome to do what is comfortable. However, this means you are expected to show respect and keep options out of the group. You are free to leave if you are not comfortable. No refunds.
LHOUSE believes everyone has the right to home education. Curriculums/ educational materials will be different. We expect everyone to keep options at the door. Each induvial is allowed to work freely and without stress. Please read NON-DISCRIMINIATION POLICIES here on Q&A.
LHOUSE will have an area for families waiting on their children. Bring a book or toy to stay busy. Study Hall 1-2pm is for education, there will be space /quite area. 2-3pm is flexible and social time. If a sibling would like to join the one hour of social fun. Please submit $6.00 ahead of time.

All must be completed before start date/ date of activity or group meet up.
Forms will be provided at in person group/meeting.
LHOUSE will provide a safe and clean space, WIFI. water, teacher or tutor, writing paper, pencil, & board games. Those participating in Study Hall must bring own books/curriculum ruler calculator or any other supplies needed for your assignment or lesson.
You may drop off your child and pick up at 3pm. Parents MUST sign all paperwork approving the drop off & pick up. Contact information, medical needs ect.
